Los Angeles, CA — As the Los Angeles Rams ramp up for the 2025 NFL season, one player in particular has caught eyes in offseason drills: running back Kyren Williams. After a stellar 2024 campaign, Williams is entering this year with confidence, improved strength, and renewed energy — all signs point to another dominant season.

Last Season: Elite Production
Williams didn’t just put up good numbers in 2024 — he delivered among the league’s best at his position. Key stats from that season:
- Rushing attempts: 316 carries.
- Rushing yards: 1,299 yards
- Rushing touchdowns: 14 rushing TDs.
- Receiving: Added 34 catches for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns.
On a per-game basis, he averaged about 81.2 rushing yards in 2024 over 16 games.
Williams also ranked highly among running backs in several efficiency metrics: his success rate was among the top five in the league (minimum carry qualification), and Pro Football Focus listed him among the top backs in categories like yards after contact and rushing touchdowns per game.

Offseason & Contract Extensions: Getting Sharper
These impressive performances have not gone unrewarded. In August 2025, Williams signed a three-year, $33 million extension with the Rams, including $23 million guaranteed.Williams has also made a point of showing up fully in training camp, despite contract negotiations. He’s reported on time, participating fully in practice, indicating both professionalism and readiness.
